Blessings and Woes

After a night of prayer on the mountain, Jesus calls his disciples and appoints twelve of them as apostles. Now, the real training begins. Jesus begins to shape the new Israel with a list of blessings and woes, much like Moses when he descended from the mountain and offered blessings or curses. Are the words of Jesus different from the words Moses gave the Israelites? Will we receive the word of God and be blessed, or will we live with woe?
